Scholarship General

Sigma Chi Foundation awards General Academic scholarships to undergraduate brothers who have proven values-based leadership, high academic achievement, and financial need.

In 2016, Sigma Chi Foundation awarded $418,000 in undergraduate scholarships.

The General Academic scholarship is offered to any Sigma Chi chapter’s students.

Through the Thomas Cowan Bell Chapter Challenge and Donor-Scholar program, a donor may establish a chapter scholarship. Candidates must apply for the General Academic scholarship to be eligible for the Donor-Scholar or Bell Chapter Challenge scholarships.

Service Scholars

This scholarship was created by Timothy A. Michael, Ohio State 1970, John G. Berylson, Brown 1975, and Dr. Daniel P. Walsh, Southeast Missouri State 1971. The Military Veteran Scholarship Award gives $1,000 to undergraduate and graduate Sigma Chi Brothers who have been on active service in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard.

Your Sigma Chi Foundation is proud to offer the Brothers Helping Brothers Scholarship. Undergraduate brothers impacted by long-term unemployment or a natural calamity may apply for scholarships.

In a hardship, application info will be here. The Brothers Helping Brothers Fund will be considered for spring scholarships.
